Acceptance of Entries
The attention of attending exhibitors is drawn to the fact that entries are accepted subjected to the rules of the Qld. Chamber of Agriculture Societies and to the Constitution and rules of this Society in addition to any special regulations, which appear within this schedule.

Conditions & Regulations
1. Nominations will be ticket system obtained from Horse ring tent.  
2. Classes will follow order of schedule, will commence after 3 calls, no rings to be held up for competitors in other rings.
3. All horses/ponies entered in breed classes must be registered with appropriate breeds, proof of registration MUST be provided before entry to ring. Unless otherwise stated, 
4. Horses will only be measured if in dispute or height is not known by owner.
5. Stallion may only be ridden in events stated, rider/handler to be 17yrs and over.
6. Local classes are for horse and rider that live with in a 20km radius of Blackbutt, must have been a permanent resident for at least 3 months immediately prior to the show. Proof will be needed. Map available on the day or by contacting the horse steward. Email – monkhani@clearmail.com.au 
7. Maiden – not to have placed 1st in a similar event at an Agricultural show
8. Novice – Mount never has won a Champion in a similar event at an Agricultural show or a 1st at a Royal.
9. Hunter classes – Horses must either compete in open ring or hunter ring , not both. Hunter horse can compete in maiden class. But not in Novice or open. Hunter horse to have plain bridle and no quarter markings. 
10. The society reserves the right to alter the time or order of any event. Also to cancel / reduce or substitute prize money. 
11. Judges have the right to withhold any prize where exhibits are not of sufficient merit. Judges decision is final. Protest must be lodged in writing to the secretary together with a $30 protest fee immediately after the event. 
12. Stewards have the right to remove any animal from the judging ring if that animal is a danger to the safety of any person or animal.
13. The ‘Merle Wood’ Memorial Trophy- For Most Versatile Arabian. Open to Arabians with 50% or more Arabian blood, registration to be viewed. To compete in breed led & ridden also open classes. Must nominate at ring tent before judging.
Horses travelling to an event by vehicle are required to have a waybill.
